Chance the Rapper backs down from Anti-Biden Talk
After hopping on Twitter earlier today to show support to Ye and criticize Biden, Chance The Rapper has cooled off with his ardent support of the Louis Vuitton Don. “I understand the improbability of Ye winning the 46th presidential seat and I understand that everyone voting for Biden isn’t necessarily doing so enthusiastically,” said Chance, admitting that Biden is the safe choice. Chance initially implied that the anti-Yeezy crowd had racist motivations. “I finally got the answer now. I understand. Yall trust Biden more than yall trust Ye. I think I understand why, I just don’t feel the same way,” He said, immediately followed by “Ima keep it real alota u n***as is racist.”

After receiving and hilariously dismissing a show of support from Terry Crews, Chance attempted clarify his views and make his presidential priorities known: “Whoever you vote for I hope they abolish the prison system as we know it, honor black reparations and all treaties with Indigenous folk and lastly end homelessness. Whomever that may be God bless em.”
Does Kanye have a chance at becoming president? This isn’t the first instance of a friend-of-Ye wavering in their support when the backlash comes. After Kanye’s explosive pro-life, anti vaccine Forbes interview, Elon Musk wrote in a since-deleted tweet “We have more differences of opinion than I anticipated.” Although he’s since stated that he hasn’t dropped support for Kanye, although he thinks 2024 would be a better time.
